Scalr, as a piece of software, is a team player. It’s always been easy to integrate Scalr with technologies you already use and fit it into your ecosystem. Well, it just got even easier.

Scalr Zappier integration

It’s always been easy to integrate Scalr with technologies you already use and fit it into your ecosystem. Well, it’s just got even easier.

We’re happy to announce that you can now leverage Zapier, and its integration to over 500 applications, through Scalr webhooks.

In case you’re not familiar, Scalr is a Cloud Management Platform that provides you with a single UI and API to orchestrate, automate and enforce policy on public and private cloud platforms. Scalr abstracts cloud infrastructure and provides a consistent user experience across multiple clouds.

Large organizations use Scalr to increase developer productivity through a more effective use of cloud infrastructure, at reduced cost.

Zapier is a platform that allows you to connect any two applications and automate your day-to-day tasks. To connect two applications, you create a Zap. Zaps are automations created using Triggers and Actions. You can use Zaps to connect any two Zapier-supported apps to each other.

So, what can you do with the Scalr/Zapier integration? It’s really up to you, but here are a few good examples.

Use PagerDuty to get notified whenever a server fails, use HipChat or Slack to make sure your team can track your cloud infrastrcuture in real time, and more:
