Scaling Dockerized Apps with Kubernetes and Scalr

The ease of deploying containers is essential to Cloud. But how should it be implemented?

Deploying containers to the cloud is easy to scale horizontally (through cloning more containers), and vertically (through more CPU bandwidth). But how do you coordinate those application clusters across multiple development and production environments? How do you maintain visibility of those containers at scale and organize the developers building them?

In this webinar we work through an example of how you can leverage Scalr to easily deploy applications to Kubernetes clusters. We deploy several containerized Node.js applications into Kubernetes pods. Then, using the governance of the Scalr platform, set policies on our clusters specific to the application and their environments.
